It all started with a simple idea: to build a hotel brand where guests feel genuinely at home, where every stay is defined by comfort, consistency, and genuine care. For us, hospitality isn’t just a business; it’s a calling.

In the early 2000s, we didn’t start in a boardroom. We started on the front lines, learning the business from the ground up, making coffee for early risers, and listening to what truly mattered to our guests. These weren’t just jobs; they were lessons in the power of connection. We built lasting relationships with our teams and guests, which became the foundation of everything we do.

After nearly a decade of hands-on experience, we took a leap of faith. In 2008, we purchased our first property: a 34-room Howard Johnson Inn in downtown Kamloops, BC. That little hotel wasn’t just a building; it was the birth of StoneCrest Hotels.

Since then, we’ve grown, but our core mission has never changed. We’ve expanded across Western Canada, with 15 hotels and counting, but our growth has always been about people, partnerships, and purpose. We believe in empowering our teams, taking genuine care of our guests, and supporting the communities we call home.

As we look to the future, we’re excited to partner with other like-minded people who share our passion for hospitality. Whether we’re co-developing a new property or revitalizing an existing one, we believe that collaboration makes us stronger.

From these humble beginnings, StoneCrest Hotels has grown steadily and purposefully. Today, we proudly own and operate 15 properties across the Interior and Northern regions of British Columbia and Alberta. Each hotel reflects our unwavering dedication to creating welcoming environments where guests can relax, recharge, and feel truly cared for.
